Widows in Pasarlapudi Badava, India

We received news from Pastor John Sunkara in Pasrlapudi Badava, India.

There are twenty-five widows in his church—women who have lost their husbands and are struggling to meet even their basic daily needs.

By God’s grace, we were able to send a small offering.

Each widow received three dollars.

It may seem small, but God used it to provide for them in a very real and needed way.

Sixteen of the widows were present at the service and received the gift there.

One widow recently had bypass surgery, so Pastor Sunkara visited her home and personally delivered the support.

They were all deeply thankful.

They sent warm greetings and shared that they are praying for us and for the ministry internationally.

“He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing. (Deuteronomy 10:18)”
