A 6-year-old boy was found injured and assaulted, rescued, and given God's healing and grace

Recently, a 6-year-old boy named Gift Delaney was brought to the Mananasi Children's Center in Ogembo, Kenya, under distressing circumstances. Upon his arrival, visible signs of torture and injuries were found on his body.
Mrs. Gillian immediately sought medical attention for him, and the doctor confirmed multiple deep wounds on his back, swollen forearms, and scarring on his abdomen, consistent with past trauma.
It was reported that these injuries, including the physical assault to his back, were inflicted by his stepfather. The child exhibited a limited range of motion in both elbows, with difficulty flexing and extending them.
The doctor has ordered further examinations, including X-rays of the forearms, a bilateral elbow stiffness evaluation, an orthopedic review, and an occupational therapy consultation. Medications have also been prescribed to aid in his recovery.
Gift will require daily therapy sessions to improve his mobility, and Mrs. Gillian has requested assistance with the necessary items, including clothing, bedding, a mosquito net, books, and funds for the therapy, which will cost approximately $160.
The urgent needs of the child were promptly addressed with immediate support from Heavenly Creek Ministry. We give thanks to God for the grace that allowed Gift to be rescued and brought to the Mananasi Children's Center.
Please join us in praying for Gift, that through the boundless love of Jesus Christ, he may experience complete healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and grow in true faith in God. We also ask for continued prayers for the many children suffering not only in Kenya but across Africa, that they too may find true healing and hope in God.
